Over the past decade, Q has held many roles, including Product Manager, Product Designer.

At the core of his practice, focusing on emerging technology has allowed him to explore many diverse facets of the discipline. From creating new products for multinational organisations as an architect to pushing the boundaries of research into emerging devices and behaviours at Meta, exploring future trajectories of technology through spatial computing for the United Nations, and pushing the boundaries of what computing might be in 10 years. Q excels not only as a practitioner but as a leader in all fields of design. In parallel, his personal research work is focused on emerging futures practice. Due to the strategic nature of this work, the majority of it remains private, pre-launched or under strict non-disclosure clauses. I thrive in small, scrappy, constantly evolving, and taking responsibility for setting the direction and leading it to execution. I’m constantly working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure the core idea is communicated, the team is organised, and the planning has a clear layout. I’ve truly thrived working in a loosely structured environment. There has always been this element of enjoying the uncertainty and constantly figuring out what to do next. There is always this element of introducing a bit of rigour, but not too much, so it does not kill the team's spirit. I’m fundamentally motivated to make the world a better place through technology where I’m most passionate about 0-1 product concepts and with bold ideas in areas including, haptics, computer vision, audio, user experience, and perceptual psychology, working to solve novel problems from first principles and ideas that are reviewed by leadership.
